The Wilcox County Jail, also called the Prince Arnold Detention Center, is a detention center in Alabama that holds incarcerated adults. The jail houses inmates awaiting trial and inmates serving sentences for misdemeanors and felonies. Built in 2002, the jail has 64 beds. However, this number doesn’t represent the actual number of inmates present in the facility on a given day. In addition, the jail’s design, which is linear, makes it hard to accurately classify inmates in a housing cell. Inmates who require medical segregation, special security confinement, female housing, or other special housing requirements serve to rapidly diminish the availability of beds at the facility. To conduct a Wilcox County inmate search, call the jail at 334-682-9394.
