Inmates at the jail are permitted to host visitors. However, before scheduling a visit at the facility, it is advisable to first confirm the inmate’s presence by conducting Marengo County Jail inmate search. Male inmate visitation:

Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Female inmate visitation:

Inmate Visitation Rules

Inmates at the facility are able to have up to five visitors per day. All visitors must first sign into the visitor registration at least 30 minutes prior to appointment time. General behavioral rules will apply during visitation with a jail inmate. Be advised that offices and administration reserve the right to terminate or suspend a visitation and are allowed to escort visitors off the property if rules are not being followed. Jail Additional Information

Inmates are allowed telephone calls daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the exception of during mealtimes and lockdown situations. Each call is only outgoing and collect and is subjected to monitoring and recording for security and safety purposes. A party who accepts a call from an inmate will be charged for the call. Each call is only allowed a maximum time of 15 minutes. Three-way calling is not allowed.
