Inmate Clothing Packages / Colbert County Inmate Roster
Each inmate at the jail is permitted to file a request for clothing. Following approval by jail staff, the inmate may call or write a letter to a friend or family member to request a clothing package. However, before sending a clothing package, it is recommended that you first ensure that the inmate resides at the facility by searching the Colbert County inmate roster here. In addition, clothing packages may only be sent to the facility via mail. Also, friends and family may not drop off clothing packages at the facility in person. An approved clothing package may only contain the following items, each of which must be in unopened, new condition:

• Three white towels
• Three white wash cloths

About the County / Colbert County Inmate Roster
The county is located in the northwestern part of Alabama and has a population of 54,417. It was named after John Colbert, a Chickasaw Indian leader, and is known for landmarks such as the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and the birthplace of Helen Keller. In addition, the county’s economy is largely based on manufacturing, and it is home to several outdoor recreational areas. Colbert County is part of the Florence-Muscle Shoals Metropolitan Statistical Area, and it is bordered by Lawrence, Lauderdale, and Franklin Counties; the Tennessee River; and the state of Mississippi.
