Inmates establish their visitation list when they are booked into the facility. Only in special circumstances will a change be made to an inmate’s visitation list once they have been booked in. Also, the inmate is the only that can request a change to the list.

Sheriff Matthew Wade is the current sheriff of Calhoun County, Alabama. He has a bachelor’s degree in Technology and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Jacksonville State University, and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the National Sheriff’s Institute. In addition, he began his career in law enforcement as a correctional officer at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and worked his way up through the ranks.
